Hi all. I am thinking of putting au front upper control arm into my el falcon.
First thing is are all au series front upper control arms the same ?
Will au front upper control arms fit my el falcon ?
Can i put a camber kit on the au front upper control arms to suit my el falcon ?
What benefits will i get putting au front upper control arms into me el falcon ?
I will purchase Jasons T.I Performance adapters to suit.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

A- believe the series1 is different ... but maybe wrong

Will au front upper control arms fit my el falcon ?

A- yes but will need the adapter fitted so able to use your front end [upright & lower control arm]

Can i put a camber kit on the au front upper control arms to suit my el falcon ?

A- can put a camber kit in but prob may not need it

Was going to say I did this...

Thanks Mad...

Rollin off boostedfalcon is the manufacturer of the adaptors... He may still have some sets and sell to you direct... Not sure what TI's pricing is like...

The benefit is more caster (live camber)... So as you turn the wheel camber increases... The std falcon runs 3deg of caster... I have about 9deg of caster now... AU runs about 8 I think it was...

Someone from the boostedfalcon threads also reckoned it improved his bump steer but I wasn't going into that level of testing to confirm or deny it...

I haven't had any issues to date with Rollin's product... They were tight to get in (heat and a fridge is definitely required along with a press... And haven't budged at all (I always check him when I have the car up)...

Cheers,
Tim

Try this page but:

the-garage-f53/timmya-s-93-ed-falcon-t79040-900.html

ED was 3.5 caster and AU was 7deg caster... I might have had 8 when installed... Can't rememeber now...

Thank you Mad2 and TimmyA.
Can you tell me the differences between the AU 1,2,3 control arms. Jason at T.I Performance told me to get the AU 2 because the AU 1 is different. So when i go to the wreckers what do i look for to determine the differences. Knowing wreckers they chuck all the arms in a box and give you what ever.

No idea mate... I'd have guessed them to all be the same... You might have to quiz Jason and let us know...

Cheers,
Tim

Ok. All AU front upper control arms are the same. Ford did change companies who made the control arms mid AU era hans different casting numbers.
The AU1 front lower control arms are different from the AU2&3.
