If you are serious about wanting AU onwards offset, there is a thread on boostedfalcon for an EOI on billet lower control arms to allow an AU upright to be fitted. This means AU2 onwards brakes can be used, and also gives AU offset.

can you explain?

im pretty sure to get e series offset you would have to add material to the wheel to space it out

calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'

that dont make sense??????????????

using au/ba offset rims on e series you need to add 30mm spacers to clear the suspension, not take material off the rim.....

thats not the case...
au/ba rims wont fit on the front of e series, thats why people use hub adaptors/spacers, the spacers add 30-35mm to the rim so they can fit..

now putting e series on au/ba then you may encounter tyres rubbing on the guards if the car is lowered..

who ever said you need to machine au/ba rims down to fit them on e series has idea wtf they are on about!!!!

Dude, swallow your pride and save yourself a s**t load of time, hassle, effort and money. Get the copies, and use the $ saved for other mods.
Realistically, the odds are no one will notice or care that they're not 'Genuine F.P.V. blah blah'. Or you can go through all the trouble of changing everything. For what? Bragging rights and a huge hole in your wallet.

hey all, to sort this out i rang my mate and asked exactly what he got done.
turns out you guys are right, material was added to make the ba rims fit. when he told me he had them machined at an engineers shop i didnt bother going into depth. so yeh, sorry for the confusion
