Hey guys I am looking at getting the diff in the EL XR6 rebuilt.

I knew a few guys who have done work on other cars for me but have not been able to track them down or they are no longer in the game.

what I am after is some leads for Diff rebuilders in Sydney, location in sydney not to important, I just wanna give the diff a freshen up, it does not lock up consistantly and at times tramps while braking traction.

Meaning I will also get them to do the upper and lower control arms since they will be in there.

Who have people used, who can you recommend and who do you recommend I avoid.

Cheers, Dave

Diif Technics did a custom job on my BMW back in the day. Very happy with the work. Also used Craft Differentials for some Ford work.

Diff Technics is down your way, near Kograh from memory.

Diff technics was who I was thinking of, I had them do a diff in an old capella..

What prices do people expect to pay for a FULL rebuild. ie out of car new bearings and all?

Just been quoted about $710 inc gst
Thats built with about 75% lock. would almost be chirping the rears round a corner though.. I am thinking this may slop out to about 60% once run in.
