I know the rears fit already.. what I need to know is,

Do the front shocks from an ED XR6 fit directly into an EL XR6? got a mate with some good prices but they are ED parts..

I'm 95% sure they are 1 and the same. I just put some EL springs into my EA. They didnt look any different to me (shocks)

Yes they will, but why??? The ED has a smaller shaft size than the EL ones.
I have EL XR6 springs and until recently had EL XR6 shockies too on my 88EA. I now have Pedders GSR shockies to suit EL on it now.

shaft diameter does not bother me, the bound will be adjusted well and truely so bump and bound bind are not an issue. can just get these at a good price to pull apart to check valve flow and retard, if my specs are right then ultimately these will be up to task. waiting to hear beack from Joe at cresent with some info as well..

Cheers guys
