g'day all , i just bought a 3:45:1 LSD to replace a 3:08:1 single spinner , now just wondering before i install it i wondering besides the speedo being thrown out is there anything else i can expect to be out of order ?

Taking a punt from your EF dash tread I assume going into an EF. Bolts straight in, you just need to change the speedo sender gear, see here to work out which one.

Do what twason suggests, pick the correct gear and get it from Ford for about $13.
It's necessary to lower the gearbox at the rear bracket to gain access to the sender gear holder, one 8mm bolt on the drivers side of the gear box. Cheers, Paul

Paulmac makes it sound soooooooo easy.
While the description is simple, I reckon it was the hardest/most annoying part of my whole diff swap! And, yes, you really do need to undo the tranny crossmember to get to it. Have fun. BenJ
