Becuase even a G-Force box will strip 3rd after it's been given enough. Go TKO or T56!

BI6TIM had one I think.

Let us know how the fancy T5 goes once its behind the motor. There isnt much point telling everyone how good they are when its not in yet.

This guy broke 3rd in one. On the next car he built he went for a T56.

The box i'm using now is a gforce transmission t5 with aftermarket reinforced case, high grade nikkel steel mainshaft that is a must for 500hp+, semi-straight high nikkel steel synchro gears that are alot thicker than standard, another good thing is that all the gears can be changed so even though i've broken 3rd it can be changed without replacing the whole cluster set. And it all cost me under $3000 delivered to my door

Herse's are the site i bought it from: http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp

I haven't got the gearbox out yet to see why i've broken a tooth but should do this afternoon, i will put some picks up of my discovery

T56 is more expensive over TKO and they hold about the same power..................

well that guy that broke the g-force trans 3rd gear would be me, thats was some time ago in my stolen car. The gearbox was really was a dream to have but to be honest i had the chance to do it all again and i went for the t56 and it worked out to be less than $2k

I ebayed T56 Tremec 6 Speed, and these 2 listings stood out at me.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Tremec-T56-6-speed-gearbox-/130509505956?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e62f905a4

Here's a T56, from a Commy, 40,000 ks, 8 days to go from the 17th April, it's $1,800.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/6-SPEED-MANUAL-GEARBOX-TREMEC-T56-VZ-SS-COMMODORE-5-7L-/320684561462?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aaa4a1436

Here's another one for sale, bidding is around 510 dollars so far.

If/when my auto goes pop in my EL, I was going to try to get one of these for it, so I can turbo or supercharge it in the future if I want, I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford it but we can all dream.
