Yes - I joined fullboost and found the video. It's currently about fourth from the top on the video page - It's got a "whole heap of Turbo 6's and a 10 sec Falcon" in its title I think.

There's this old Commonwhore that gets about 10 slots on the video and this Coon gets a few seconds worth, but it is still worth a looksee...

I'd be really keen to have a look under the bonnet of this one HiBoost... Any chance?

As for people saying "what have you done to your car?".... Big grin in your direction. You'd say (just by following your nose) that it has big fat rear tyres, probably a decent diff, a strong gearbox, a pretty hefty turbo and a good tune. Add to that the distinct possibility of some head work, a cam, and some other expensive stuff to boot.

Use your imagination. I have. A ten second Falcon it is. If it cost under $10,000 to do it then a whole bunch of people around here will be eating their hats.

DUMPSTA - Have you really chopped the bottom lip off the bonnet to let some airflow through or something? Makes sense to me, without a doubt. Although you can get similar effect by doing some discrete chop work to the fins in the "grille" area...? Anyways, that red looks pretty bloody swish on my computer screen mate... Is it slightly darker and "bloodier" than the original Ford red of the era? Looks nice anyways!Image
Good effort.
BTW - I have d**k with the colours in this bubble to show the gap under the bonnet so the colour is wrong........

Nope I didnt do any chopping, thats how it just sat after it was fitted.. :? Never really bothered me as the aftermarket headlights that I put it an the sametime seem to be smaller then factory and there is roughly a 6mm gap around each headlight, not noticable but yeah now you mention it, good for airflow I guess. And thats just what brand new "Chilli Red" (think thats how its said) looks like. I looked at doing the 'discrete' work to the grill because anything thats not functional just doesnt make sense to me but I was worrying about messing it up, why ford made a grill that is physically pushing air infront of it I have no idea, as far as Im aware, a grill actually means something that liquid/air is able to pass through.

Thanks for the comments guys..! :)
