it would have to have lsd, there would be no way it could get those times with out it. It would just be wheel spining the whole time

it doesn't have LSD

Yep no LSD for the G6ET and my 3 wheel drive comment refers to the STI having a rear LSD and an open front diff.

it doesnt matter that it doesnt have a proper mechanical LSD....the traction control(TC) uses the brakes on each rear caliper to limit wheel spin on either side....effectively it is a no slip diff (NSD) ie a locker...in an LSD and TC the axels are being braked, one by a caliper the other by internal friction in the centre.....

now the only real advantage to having a proper lsd is if u want to turn off the traaction control and do some sideways drifting action....in that situation u dont want the TC intervening but u do need the inside wheel to not just fry itself....

I see that as a fair negative against the G6E...but only if u want to drift...for straight line traction an LSD gives u no additional advantage over plain TC...

6.77 0-100 for the Toyota is pretty impressive too!
