Just wondering if anybody knows the weight of the BTR 4-speed auto, and also the T5 5-speed manual.

T5 One man job

BTR 4 speed, two man job :)

Hope that helps. .

I use the engine crane to pick up the auto's :)

In the back of wheels it says a Ba manual weighs 1688kg and an auto 1710kg.

LOL! That's the entire car with the boxs. The 4 Speed Automatics definately need two people to carry them, not too heavy, not too light either! Not sure on the exact weight, but 70kg would be a good guess, without the Torque Converter that is!

Don't forget the about 10ltrs+ of oil too!

Ahh, cool thanks for the replies!
I was just thinking about the 'minor' performance gains to be had from the manual gearbox being lighter, aside from the fact that it has heaps better ratios.
