Thanks mate. It was a build based on love, we are a big ford family, (ucnle also has a 68 mustang).

Engine is the (mostly) Original Ford Kent straight 4, 1.6 litre. Rebored to 1.7, Lumpy crow cam (not sure of the model number) and imo a little too lumpy, the engine wont idle for long without a little bit of gas, but then again its not a daily driver so it doesnt matter much. Other than a webber carby upgrade, and the cam the engine is stock, all the internals were replaced with new parts.

exhast is pacemaker headers, and 2.25 inch streight thru (no mufflers)

The build was a full nutt and bolt restore, and abo9ut 35 grand total was pumped into her.

Next up we will be doing similar to my ED falcon. Full nut and bolt restore, Viper green Respray (back to bare metal) 502 chevy v8 (provided it will fit if we cant make it fit a BOSS 351), manual conversion, upgraded brakes, New Diff. XR8 lights, GT Body Kit, El Tickfor cluster conversion. List goes on!

Project will start in about 6 months, I have around 40 grand to pump into it so we will see how it goes! As with the capri all work will be done by us (bar sandblasting and the spray job).

Pics of my car at current:

Mate that is an awesome job!!! A lot of time and effort has been put into that one aye

Geez, my old man has a genuine 1970 Capri GT V6 with the 4 speed manny sitting in his uncles backyard rusting away. Makes me mad to see what it could of been after seeing this beauty. Love the interior, the dash looks so much more modern compared to the original. Very nice

That is just sad :( why not 460 ford?, or 351 stroked to 427, quadcam 5.4 with supercharger on top. Even a Powerstroke diesel would be better than putting a chev in a ford.
