Hmm okay well if you think 12psi is safe for a stock BA engine then I will choose that or go 9psi instead

Already have ceramic coated pacemaker 4490's, big high flow cat and 3" stainless steel system on at the moment plus a CAI pod/box/piping set up

with correct tune 12psi is no problem but it would be best to start at 9 psi , your list of mods will work great with the supercharger system expect around 6 hours max to install

Thanks for the quick responses. Hmm interesting mostly worried about heatsoak during summer. But the sprintex will be much better than the eaton unintercooled for 12psi

Not sure if I want to start at 9 and then have to have it retuned again later when I want to upgrade

One more thing, I would be upgrading the spark plugs to NGK iridium ones, Will the ones pre gapped for a xr6 turbo models be suited well?

yes mate we usually suggest .8mm for forced induction and colder heat range plug

alright well i will order one in 3 weeks :D

what litre displacement is the sprintex?

how long is the run in time for the unit and what rpm do you have to stay under?

also water/methanol injection is compatible isnt it? it gets injected before the throttle body/supercharger right?

thanks

ah alright. so you think the 2.1l will cost a bit more than the 1.46l?

interesting i had heard water/methanol wasnt damaging to the seals inside the supercharger but that straight methanol could cause a problem. does the base plate need to be drilled/threaded to get the injection nozzle in there?

the 2.1 version i am still waiting on sprintex to confirm price/lead time

there is plenty of space in the base plate to mount the water/methanol injection nozzles , we can do this for you if required

Any mechanic could do it.

I did mine myself at home in my backyard in a few hours.

we supply the product in most cases direct to the public which ensures the best price for the customer , any workshop can install the kits or the can be done at home by the customer

dyno tuning is always required once installation is complete but the vehicle can be driven to/from workshops but only under light throttle/load

Might attempt it myself if i have someone who's a mechanic/knows what they're doing to help, otherwise i'd be taking it to a workshop where they have a dyno/tuning facilities right away.. it's not just the supercharger kit to get fitted i want to do the water/meth injection at the same time and dont wana be messing around with wiring and mounting it all

it depends on the type and style of gas system your are currently running , but you will be required to modify the system to suit the desired power levels to start

it would be best to speak to your local lpg expert for what options are available to you

ok. what price will the kit be with the 12psi sprintex charger?

and is 12psi pushing it without upgrading the internals?

4500.00 + shipping for the sprintex 500hp system

12 psi will require tune to suit but will be no problem

it will still make it run cooler, prevent detonation and raise the octane with 9psi though? probably not as nessacary but i want to have it for extra safety and it means i'll be able to buy much cheaper e10 fuel instead of premium. always have it there for later on down the track

can you post the price for the 2.1l sprintex kit in here when you hear back from them? thanks
