my mate is chasing big power out of his EVO 7, i have done a bit of searching around and cant find how true his 300rwkw claim is...

he is getting it tuned next week...

his mods will be:
3" exhuast with dump and hi flow cat
injectors
fuel rail
fuel pump
Bigger Front mount with hot and cold side pipes
cam gears
exhaust manifold
custom tune

still runnning stock turbo and inlet manifold

what power can be achieved on one of these cars?
his tuner told him 300+rwkw, does this sound right?

Cant say I'm an expert on these buzz boxes, but I'm pretty sure the factory turbo wont be able to pump out 300kw at the wheels.
Everything else listed is capable of 300 though, apparently cams in these things make quite a difference

I've been in a 350rwkw evo 9...

It was FAST

owned by 45 yr old buy who said he had spent >$30,000 on mods (however he had done a bunch of stuff to make it track worthy, epic brakes/suspension taking a large chunk of the cost)

he actually crashed it while showing it off to me and a mate. hit 220kmh on springvale road in the wet, aquaplaned, flew threw a fence and through an open field, very lucky to not hit a tree or anything. Car was a write off though, I have never seen a grown man so ashamed, when he had to call his wife and explain he crashed while showing off to 2 20 year olds...

just got his car back from tuning, 180awkw @ 18psi, apparantly the stock turbo and motor is only good for about 200-220awkw before a built motor is required....

took it for a drive, not as quick as my XR6T with 280 rwkw @ 9 psi
