Gday all,
Just wondering about boot lips on the ea-ed models. Noticed a few poeples cars have them lookin through galleries, and was wondering how much aroundabout poeple had paid for them if they got them from body-kit joints or wreckers...
Found one at a wreckers the other day, the proper ford ones made of rubber which is on an eb and was wonderin if it would go on the ed? and what price would be reasnable for it?
thanks for the help

EA-ED bootlids are to all intents and purposes identical, so the lip will fit...... if ya can find one, grab it cos they're F**k rare

The lip spoilers on the EB - ED XR's were rubber but the original EA SVO lip spoilers were fibreglass and had SVO embossed on the lower right side.
Mick Webb at SVO in Charter St. Ringwood has brand new genuine SVO spoilers unpainted for around $280

Went down today and the bloke wanted $200 for it, asked him to cut a deal with $150 but he said he would buy it for his own car if it was sellin for that price. After that they wouldnt let us "look around" the place without one of their staff keeping an eye on us

ive been lookin for years very hard to get but im startin to like the low stock body look anyway $200 the painted as the other dude said spend it where it matters (springs and slam it down in the weeds will look tougher than the spoiler) imo

I wouldn't part with mine for only $200!!! :? Luckily mine came genuine with the car  If I didn't have one, I'd snap one up for $200! Bargain!

I was told that the lip spoilers are secured to the boot lid using some sort of glue or double sided tape.......Anyone know if it is true? Because the fact that the genuine XR ones are rubber it would make it difficult to bolt on to the boot lid unless the spoiler has a metal insert or something.

Go for it, the boot lip spoilers are subtle but sexy! Add's just that little bit extra to your boot! Work for a week or two weeks, and get it. You can get a cam any other day, whereas you never know when you'll come across another bootlip.

Goodluck with it mate.
