Hey,

Im planning my Turbo setup stage by stage and as the heading says im wondering if anyone is running a 6boost manifold and can anyone provide any feedback on them. (i think 4ltrjet might have had one at one stage)
They claim they are better quality than the Snort manifolds and after calling them today they are cheaper too.

any advise? thanks!

There are quite a few people running 6Boost manifolds. Hi Boost, dansedgli, Fritzz and a few others I know of. Kyle has proven on a number of different cars that his manifolds build boost 400-600rpm earlier, and also make more power on an otherwise identical setup. Hope that helps.

Yes it does help, thanks. I will need that extra few hundred rpm as the turbo i have is pretty big and im not really expecting it to spool up before 3000rpm.

.. no i not going on a stock motor, this is a planned project which i expect to take about 12 months (cash dependent  )

im running a 6boost manifold, unfortunatly i cannot run a comparison against a log or a snort manifold as i have not used any other than the 6 boost..
i can say its a very solid well built manifold.

Yep, that and price = decision made. I know from experience the Snort manifolds are great but...
+1 6Boost manifold on the shopping list

Very happy with mine. I've had it on and off a few times and no signs of warping like some people get.

I reckon the 6boost stuff has better resale too which is handy if you change your mind a lot like me.

With a 1.06 rear Gt35r and a nizpro plenum I get boost real early, full boost at under 2500rpm or there abouts. I dont think it's any less responsive than my old eaton supercharger setup.

This is ceramic coated.

They are good thing.
I've used them one FJ20s RB25s and RB30s and an SR20.
The fit was always good and quality of workmanship is excellent.

Thanks heaps Dan, the turbo I have is also 1.06 rear with an unknown front housing (1.++) and I was worried about how late it would spool.
@Tickford6 Thanks heaps too, sounds like you have used the manifold successfully quite a few times and word of mouth is the best advertising :D

Im sold.. now just need the $$$
