Just a query. Recently bought a supercharge kit for my xr8 from raptor and looked thru it and one thing is a little confusing. the little black round box looking thing with a fan and the black rippled tubing...wot is it for and were exactly is it fitted.

its the cooling fan for the supercharger gearbox,
the hose runs from the fan box to ether the top or bottom fitting on the front section of the charger.. and you can mount the fan box behind the bumper.. |

By the way i also got a new ider pulley installed few onths back and the supercharger came with one to. the bearing is a diff colour. is it stonger than my standard one or just the same??

also have towire up the fan for the charger, but were i the engine bay is some connections so it only works wen car is on???

you can hook it up to the ignition trigger wire to the ecu relay or to the positive ignition supply to the injectors or coil..
the fan is esentually a 12v computer type fan so it dont draw much current.. |
