Don't mount the engine to the crossmember. Cut the mounts off and make new ones that mount the engine to the chassis rails.

You're dreaming if you think you can buy off the shelf parts to fit an SR20 in there.
fit a Zetec or a Duratec and everything is available off the shelf from the UK

A turbo'd 2.3L duratec would s**t all over and out dated SR20

heaps of info on the convesrion and there is a guy(Andy) user name 510POM, send him your x-member and he converts it to take the SR20det, straight bolt in easy as!(Slight mods to firewall are needed)
