hey guys my 99 ford festiva had a terrible oil leak its hard to tell where its coming from,where do there normally leak.id say i would go through neally 1ltr a week,could it be a rear main leak.any help would be great

My brothers blew a few water pumps, but other than that only the rocker cover leaked which wouldnt be the cause of 1 litre a week, id be degreasing the engine and see where its coming from?

i will degrease and have a look. but i wonder what could cause such a bad leak

My brother had one of these and sold it for next to nothing when it started leaking oil like that.

His oil leak was mostly out of the exhaust pipe while the engine was running tho!!
