I am wanting to know from you people that have a plenum, how you removed the BBM butterflies and what you did.

IE removed the complete BBM butterflys and shaft or just the butterflys, if you removed the lot how did you block the holes at either end of the BBM to stop air escaping?

Any advice and pics would be excellent, as Im installing a snort plenum on my ED this week for my turbo setup.

I have upgraded my turbo and manifold to a snort stage 4 manifold, 50mm wastegate, and a GT3580r (0.7/0.96)

I was thinking to just remover the butterfly's and leave the shaft in there?

i would remove the shaft and butterflies, the only hole that needs plugging is the front shaft hole, as the rear one dont go all the way through..
i would tap a thread and use a grub screw with loctite to seal up the thread..

No worries Ill be removing it today to finish it off ready to install the Plenum, maybe smooth out the inside of the lower half of the BBM too?
