Hey guys, Two days ago I noticed my rear demister lines were showing up when I looked through the rear view mirror.

They used to be very slightly visible when they weren't turned on and when you turned the rear demister on they would become extremely visible then after being turned off would disappear again.

I'm not sure why but the lines are visible as if they're always on but I've checked and made sure the demister button was off (I tried turning it on for 10 minutes then back off) yet they're still on and I have no idea why?

I think your being pedantic, the demister lines are always visable. Every falcon I've had, you can see then, they don't migically appear when you turn them on. they are a static thing that is always there.

I think now you have noticed them, you are always seeing them. bit like your nose. Until you look for it without a mirror, your brain just blocks out the fact its there.

Now your looking down and seeing your nose aren't you.

In most cases the demister lines will show up more if you have tinted windows....The darker the tint the more visible the lines are.

I think his concern is that he feels they are more prominant when turned on, and has just noticed that they are always like this. Its normal.

Yep It seems like they are meant to be this way. only reason I noticed it is because my windows got quite dusty and when I cleaned the dust off all of a sudden i started noticing them.

oh well I guess I'll hjust have to adjust to them...
