i have a computer system that will not allow me to start the car without de activating or scrambling the smartlock from the el computer.
it is a speedway car so there is no ignition.
was told putting a j3 chip into it will do the process i want.
any help will be appreciative.

If you must run the EL Computer, then you need to install a BEM and a dummy ignition barrel to bypass the smart lock.

OR

Run an EB non smartlock computer.

Or

Buy a J3 chip as you've been told.
It will render the ECU to be used by adding volts and missing all the non used items.

wilson,

depending on what class your running, you may not be able to run a chip in the ecu.
smartlock bypass modules are available for this purpose, pm me for more info
