I'm thinking it won't fit but will the whole towbar off my el sedan fit a wagon ? Or fit with little modifications ??

Different mounting points. You may be able to modify it but I think it would have a negative effect on the load rating. Better off scrounging a proper wagon one from a wrecker or evil-bay.

Shame youre not closer. I have one for an EL wagon but need one for an EL sedan.. You dont know anyone that travels south?
