4. The workers all want executive level pay packets. Nothing wrong with that I say, but its gotta come from somewhere, i.e Fords profits.
5. The bloody Unions

Unions are NOT whipping boys you know. The upper echelon workers, the executives take a fair slice out of Ford's profits as well.
When you have executives who command in excess of $500,000.00 and yet put little or nothing into the actual building of the car, the money for them has to come from somewhere?

i have been through union action before (around 2008/2009 when the GFC hit) the company was a "non union" workplace so they couldn't walk in like they owned the place, a couple of guys got sacked so there was a union blockade of the site. d***head spat and carried on at some prospective clients that came to look at the operations. Once the company agreed to take the workers back (both declined to return - wtf?) the union knobs from Melbourne turned around and said "now that we have got these boys their jobs back, lets push for higher wages for all you union members" this company already paid way above the award in Geelong BTW.

We then didnt get the (big) contract from the company that had been booed and jeered and refused access to the site, and 20 blokes lost their jobs over the next few months as there wasn't enough work left in the contracts we still had.

f**k the unions, as long as they are run like a business (and blokes are too p***y to stand up for themselves)

The problem is that people today need to have the best and newest of everything. 90% of the "struggling Australian families" would have plenty for food and bills if they weren't trying to have the latest and greatest gadgets and expensive holidays.

This means they will fight for a pay rise just because more money sounds good, f**k whether the company can afford it. They will buy cheap imported s**t cos they dont give a f**k if some chump looses their manufacturing job in Geelong/Melbourne/Adelaide.

And the politicians sure as hell dont give a crap because they are guaranteed a life of luxury forever after they retire.
