I've got a half inch spacer on my explorer manifold now it's split do need a new one will a 1" spacer fit ünder my bonnet with out hitting it when it's reving ? Also what brand maf sensor should I get I'm going to get an 80 mm plastic one because I have a 75 mm throttle body and egr spacer. We're do I get one to suit an au falcon summit don't have one that goes straight onto the air box, is it important to get one suited to you injectors

Pro-M mafs are supposed to be the ducks guts.
www.promracing.com for more info. As for the spacer I got no idea. Most guys seem to run a 3/8" and call it a day. I have a 1" on order but my 5.0 is not in a falcon engine bay. |

Cheers champ! I ended up going the 3
Quatre inch one stayed safe an i think I'm going to go the 90 mm lighting maf sensor which is on eBay for pretty cheap

With the lightning, you will need an AU MAF plug, or the adapter. BPT sell it, as do SCT.

You would need to tune it. For the bigger sensor.

Yep. Dropping the sensor in a bigger housing throws the calibration out. With the Pro-M and other good aftermarket sensors they come with a transfer function curve (mass flow in kg/h vs sensor output voltage 0-5v) which you then program into your ecu via a flash tuner, j3 chip or quarter horse.
The only time its plug and play is if you get the maf calibrated for your injectors and ecu. By scaling the transfer function its still a bandaid solution. |

That way I probly won't need to tune the car You've already got an AU so you don't need to change the plug. I think the 90 is too big for your combo. The stock 70 will be fine, but then we've already been over this. |

Dude do u know how long and many post I have looked through to find what you just posted, I all ready have the 73 mm maf with my original maf sensor in the housing seems to run ok:/
