Hi

I have a vortech charged xr8 ba and accidentally hit the default settings on the sct device. Loaded it up too

When I checked the wot richer/leaner setting it showed 0%

I thought previously that the setting was on 14%richer

How does the sct wrk? Does this mean there is 14% richer over the custom tune setting or does the custom tune take into account the 14% richer as part of its base tune.

the user options like wot fuel, timing ect is added to your custom tune..
so if it was set to+14% someone has added a lot of fuel to the tune for some reason...

Car is forced induction.

my question is if the custom tune already takes into account the fuel requirements and thus the tuner should be on 0% or does it require the tuner box to give it the extra fuel

it depends if the user options were at 0 at the time of the tune..

if the custom tune was done right, then there should not be a need to add the extra 14% of fuel..

+14% is a fair amount to add, are you sure it was at +14??

Honestly don't remember.. Seems odd though.

I hit the default setting and it shows 0%

But I'm not sure if the default setting relates to the custom tune or the tune boxes in general
