Hey,
I'm installing a amp and sub into my mrs Au 2000 and I am going to keep standard H/U and wire in a hi/low conerter for the amp.
In the last car I wired in a switch for the trigger but in this one I'd like the trigger to come from the ign or acc.
Where is the easiest place to get this feed from?

dont think there is anything, unless there is something in the trailer plug loom

Easy peesy. I ran the trigger wire off a speaker. Turns the amp on with the stereo

Buuut won't the signal drop off with the bass?

I'd be looking at the radio plug pinouts and find one that has +12v out.

For example, use the electric aerial trigger wire if it isn't only powered when the head unit is set to radio..

Or run a wire from the ignition power to the head unit through a little switch to the amp..
