hi bought a wrecked turbo ba and fitting the head unit with standard amp and sub woofer to my ute .when i bought the car it had a rockford fosgate amp fitted but the old standard amp was still connected to it as well .can i get rid of the ford amp and just run the rockford fosgate one ? i am fitting it to a ute .have just fitted the tweeters and back speaker cables out of the xr 6 , what a job to find and fit just those 8 cables . ps can i just get rid of the ford amp ? please give advise only if you know (just had to many wrong information from time wasters on this web side )

Just look at the ford amp and see what it has going to it. Like:
Hi/low level inputs and power: ground active and trigger. Amps aren't hard to figure out as there just......... Amps.

^ no offence but if people gave the wrong info it was only because they were trying to help.

i know they tried to help but when they cost you money and time then its not helping me at all . sorry mate but what i was asking ,if i remove the amp (ford one )does the head unit still work ? or are they both coded to work with each other ?
