Hey everyone,
I just got a 2006 BF SR. And had a couple of questions.

The car has one key, and I want a spare, not sure how to go about getting a second key made. Where do I go to get a second key?

Also, the car has the stock stereo system in it. How do I use my phone to play music on it? I'm not sure if the car has bluetooth. How do I go about playing my music via my Samsung 5. Or Iphone.
Thanks all,

key can be CLONED by a locksmith which is probably the cheapest way to get a second key, however is not usable if you need to replace engine computer -BEM - etc. as it is only recognized as 1 key for programming............

if you don't see a switch with a phone pic on it no blue tooth - you can get a kit for blue tooth or a kit for auxiliary socket to plug mp3 in on e-bay or maybe ford - or buy an fm transmitter that suits phone from jaycar etc.

Ahh, ok I see, so the second key will work, as long as I don't replace the engine computer. Understood.

Is this what I need?

if phone has 3.5mm socket look at aux. - mp3 type kits - plugs in behind fuse box not as good as blue tooth but cheaper (modules on bluetooth crapped out at times requiring replacement) or fm transmitter - which ever you decide on make sure you get complete system as individual parts also sold which requires you to get the rest to operate...........................

So I got the cable. It works fine.
But I can't control music from steering wheel(Huge thing for me, I love controlling it from wheel)
Anyway, I'm currently having to burn cd's then play them. Of course, CD's don't hold a lot of songs.
I can use my phone, but the sound isn't loud, very very soft in fact.
How do I go about increasing the sound level? What speakers and such do I need?
I don't mind spending a few hundred to have a damn good sound experience.
My speakers are all stock, I think parcel speakers are 5 x 7
Any help is helpful!

But I really wanna use my smartphone, and control from steering wheel.

No you haven't. They may have been mp3 before you started, but if they were still mp3 when on the disc you would be able to fit up to maybe 170 + songs per CD. If you are only getting 18 tracks per disc, then they are being encoded as CDA or some such thing, and as such are being rated by minutes instead of megabytes...

IF ya only gettin 18 songs to a disc .... it ain't mp3 .. prob cda/wav format. ph can't be controlled form steering wheel. i bought me other half an older style mp3 player that will hook up to the sound system & holds up to 20 something gig of music, which 'should' keep her happy ..... maybe lol
