Hello, as i got out of my car after a drive i noticed oil leaking heavily from the transmission area of my car. I'd assume it's a transmission oil leak but i want to be double sure.

Check the oil on the ground, is it Transmission oil or Engine oil.

Engine oil will be brown, your trans fluid will be crimson red.

Depends on the condition of the Trans Oil :D , could be dark brown :shock:

^^^^ Yep, if not serviced regularly, that'll absolutely be the case.

OP, get under and check where it's coming from - transmission oil pan, rear seal, where the trans joins the engine, etc.
