My transmission slipped this morning...First time it's done that.
Went and got a quote about getting the transmission serviced and it will cost $200 (Fresh oil, filter etc.) but if the transmission fluid is black then it will require a flush out which will cost an extra $50. Does that sound like a good price for a transmission service?

Scored good on ebay last week....Got a brand new set of Monroe GT Gas front shocks for my ute, I was the only bidder and got them for $90.
 The front shocks in the ute were totally buggered and were leaking oil. I got them fitted on Friday and now the ute handles like a new car. Cornering, Braking, Everything. I reckon the front shocks must have been buggered when I bought the ute because it has never felt this good to drive before. The front end is tight and precise now.

Looks good mate. I noticed your aerials shrunk... were they causing a bit of trouble through the KFC / Maccas drive through? haha

hahaha, Yep, The 6 foot aerials were getting snagged on stuff so I use my small aerials around town but if I'm going to ute shows etc I run the big ones.

Decided to get rid of the Narva Taurus bull lights on the rollbar because they sat up too high for my liking so I bought a set of Roo Lite 220XP lights and put them on instead...Much better now.

Spose I should update...
The ute went to car heaven back in March after being written off (My own stupid fault). shame really because it was a good old ute. Currently got a 2007 AWD Territory but looking to get another V8 ute eventually.
