Hello everyone

I've built my motor as a NA set up. Xr 6 el, bf gas rods, au Mahle forged Pistons 1mm oversize .003" out the deck .035" head gasket 10.4 compression, crow 2222549. 165rwkw

Is there any chance of 6psi boost, small turbo instant boost linear power maybe gtx3076r looking for 220 to 250 rwkw. Is this a fanciful dream that will lead to a toasted motor or can a good tune pull it of.

Was hoping minimal quench area helps stop detonation, and if 10.4 is just ridiculous for boost can I lower it with porting the chamber hopefully better flow and dropping compression. Or does a bigger cumbustion chamber make more detonation.

Thanks for any replies as I really am quite ignorant with boost.

Hey firstly I'm pretty new to boost but I can tell you that 10.4 comp is to high just running s#!t fuel will give you detonation. You've built your motor for high comp so to lower it you would need to undo all the work you've done to get to were you are now.your better off building another motor to suite a turbo I know its probably not what you want to hear but it will save you the Money you have already spent.
