Hey guys,

Need some help/advice. A little while back, i had to pull the upper intake manifold off and i damaged the gasket. As i didn't have a new gasket, i thought i was use some perma max.

The perma max has done and excellent job of sealing the the upper manifold to the lower manifold. Here in lies the problem, i now cant remove the upper manifold.

Does anyone have any tips/advice on how i can remove the upper manifold now?

Thanks

Was it Permatex sealant that you used? I haven't heard of Perma max.

If it's a silicon based sealant, then you should be able to apply some force and break the seal.
