those are ralley pack wheels, XD s-pack wheels are 14" steels with 12 round holes in them

Nope not those either. Spokes are fatter, less of them and the centre is a kind of cone.

New Zealand falcons can have some real weird things on the build plate

I have a '82 XE sedan strange thing is according to the build plate and chassis number it's an XD. It's definately an XE as it has coil springs in the back rather than leaf springs.

Those wheels are Fairmont rims, they were also used on the XC's too.

Yeah well someone decided on Wednesday that they needed the stuff in my house more than I did...so I came home to a a burgled house and a whole heap of my stuff missing...that included the digital camera. I'll post pics when I get a replacement. Might be a while so have patience my children.

what shape are the holes in the wheels IE: straight from centre to outer rim or round?

MY 81 XD colour is not common, listed as an XB colour, VIN says its Y0455, my letter from Ford says Y045, Corporate Blue with B2 interior, black striped wool. 351 4 speed car with LSD and the tramp rods etc.
