Cool, thanks for all the info however it is too much for me to decipher.
- Any idea how much the Ford GT40 X, Y or Z heads are and are they definitely alloy??
- Are there readily available extractors to suit these heads into an EB XR8
- What kW Can be expected with a suitable Cam, inlet manifold, exhaust using EEC IV??
- ARe they sold complete or as bare heads?

Advance make an extractor to suit GT40p heads in an E series Falcon. Dont know the differences between the GT40 and GT40p heads, But i think they'll have what you're after that will be a bolt in no probs ordeal.

The sprint is fitted with GT40 heads not GT40P where the spark plug is at a different angle to E7 (stocker) heads, so you should be right with just about any headers that fitted E series.

Does anyone have a set of PH4000 extractors that they are thinking of getting rid of?

Hurricane headers fit no problem onto my NC Fairlane which has a modified au220kw with gt40p heads so e series will fit too. They are available many places.
