Hi
just a quick question does nc fairlane or ed fairmont seats bolt to a ef/el and can you take back and base off the rails and bolt to ef/el runners and has anyone got any pictures and diagrams to wire up ef mirrors in ed to go off because want to fit ed mirrors to the ef as like them better and one needs replacing. thanks for any help you’s can give |

Does anyone know ?
Can you swap rails from ed to ef when putting ef interior in a ed and if you’d weld how do you make it less obvious |

Hey mate... Think the question is a little unclear in relation to the mirrors... But you should search for a wiring diagram or maybe look in library at a Haynes manual.
I got AU leather seats into an EF / EL and they look sweet... Just cut the legs that go to the floor off the E series and weld to the AU rails outright. Not tricky - just get some EF seats and put them on the ground next to the ED or AU ones and have a look mate. |

Technically yes. However, for a typical cop to pick that up, would be a rarity.
In regards to disguising it. Just paint it black.

I have AU xr seats in my Ef and all I had to do was change the rails by a undoing a few bolts and replacing the rail. the Back seats was harder to fit as the locking catch had to be changed around. |
