Got an issue with my indicator when indicating left on my BA Fairmont. Only happens when my lights are “ON” it cuts out my entire front head lights & rear lights. Have noticed a relay ticking in the fuse box on the right hand side near the bonnet release. It stops when I remove the relay but lose my rear tail lights. Does the relay need replacing or is it something more with the electric? Any help please would be appreciated

you 'might' have an issue with the clock spring [mounted under steering wheel] and/or indicator/light switch?. i'm not 100% sure on this tho, & hopefully someone who knows more will chip in.
