well that was hell....

i didnt get a wiring loom, i just got the switches and regs.

i wired up a loom for it simple, installed the loom tested it easy. ~3 hours gone.

atacked the rivits holding the motors.... could not dent them, angle grinded the rivites flat and then drilled came strait out. another >2 hours gone

after that simple grease and bolt the regs in.

then spent the next hour alighning the windows on the cradle so they wouldnt stop half way...

stressfull yes, but definantly worth it.
have freind help you it makes it much easier.
the job wasnt that hard it was just time consuming.

go for it i say.

good luck if ya need any help just pm...

P.S.have you read the window guide, its for e series but should be very similer.

Rushed

Hit the centre pin of the rivet with a punch of some sorts and it pops the pin out the other side of the rivet.

Then drill rivet out, 6mm bit from memory will do the job nicely.

5 mins per door. :D

a used kit with a newish driver window, factry body loom, i just made up my own loom using the oem plugs.

after a few days, i can say its definantly worth it, takes a while to get used to... have gone for the winders 5 times, only to realise they dont exist anymore, do'h

while you have the doors apart you could put in better speakers... could be another incentive to do it??

good luck
