Bought a cheap XH XR6 Falcon with a supposed distributor problem, when i got it i noticed it had a new distributor in it as well as a new coil. Still no spark so i pulled the plug off the coil and I'm getting power to the coil and replaced the coil to distributor lead aswell and I put a spark plug in the other end and confirmed there was no spark getting to the dizzy. Ive also checked the CRT fuse in the cabin which was fine and the interior light is working.

Starting to think a wiring issue or BCM maybe? any help would be sweet!|

check power to module on the dizzy. the TFI module is a common culprit on these

Do you know which pins should be powered up on the TFI plug?

Also there seems to be some pretty dodgy wiring on the TFI loom, looks like they have extended the TFI loom on one of the wires for some reason.

there should be a red with green trace wire that has 12v with ign on. REF attachment for diagram

Am definitely getting power at the TFI Plug!

Just chucked another ECU in it that my mate had and that didn't work either, BCM Fault maybe?

MMmmm Could be, have also seen cheap chinese dizzy's fail when new. Some where i have a EL workshop manual which would be similar to the XH, ill see if I can dig it out. Where are you located?

Have got another Dizzy and module to try (second hand) I've also cleaned up some average wiring jobs from the previous owner.

Im starting to think its an earth fault, I'm getting power to the coil but may not be earthing it correctly so i have a diode to try.

Will let you know what i find, starting to run out of ideas!

Tried the other dizzy aswell as the new diode.

Still got no spark. im out of ideas.
