Hi all
My Au Xr8 has a high pitched squealing noise when accelerating at higher revs which makes it shake splutter and nearly stall, the ignition lights come on as well, this lasts for around 10 seconds, then it comes right, anyone had this problem?

Sounds like the cam sync sensor. Sits in place of where the distributor did on previous models.
