Bit of a newbie here but Do I really need to install shorter shocks with ultra low king springs?? Or can I just use the stock ones???

Like Mad2 said, yes. I would not be going to the effort of changing springs and leaving in OLD Shcosk anyway. If you intend to KEEP the car, why not go the Coil-over road?

I think I might go with coil overs especially the cuz ones
Just thought I'd see what people are doing with springs first |
