How did the rear of the console fit? Much stuffing around? I was thinking of grafting the rear of an EL console to the front of an XH console for a different look and cup holders.

The rear slipped right in no problem apart from the trim to the lower edge in my pics

should be same[ish] as the e series manual/auto console has shifter for either in same spot & console mounts in same spot as well for either.
