Hi. I am just wondering what would be the best head torque setting using ARP head studs with MLS AU head gasket ?
It's a Ford EL 4.0L 6cyl.
I know the factory specs for the MLS AU head gasket which is
30nm then 120 degrees.
But i found a JMM head torque spaecs that he uses
*40nm
*80nm
*110nm
What do you guys think ?

If you're using ARP head studs you certainly don't want to use the the normal ford torque specs. That's for torque to yield head bolts that are meant to be stretched and single use only.
ARP instructions should be included with them and I'm fairly sure it's similar to JMM specs you just quoted.

The ARP book says a 12mm stud should be torqued to 98 ft./lbs. (132.87nm) with the ARP lube.

Do it in 3 steps, and in the same patterns as OEM, and you should be sweet. 8-)
