Ok. Im lost here and I hope some gurus on here can help.
I have myself a bit of a frankenstein XG ute with what I suspect is a EB XR8(HO) donk being run off of a NC fairlane ECU, XR8 loom and XG dash loom and cluster.

My dash cluster had all the guages, but my tacho and ODO doesnt work. I have changed to another dash and still nothing.

I have bought an after market tacho and hooked it up to the pink/blue in the dash and the ob port below fuse pannel, and both sides of the coil. I cant get anything. I suspect who ever did the ecu-loom job may have left something out.

Does anyone on here know if there is somwhere in the engine bay or on the NC ECU(1DHA) that will give me a signal?
Any clues will be much appreciated. Its driving me nuts.

Tacho feed on these is from the negative side of the coil as most vehicles are before EF/XH which use Serial data from the EEC instead.
