Can I put a 302 Clevland into an XG ute and if so what mods do I need to do pls?

More seriously, if it’s to be registered in most Australian states you’ll need to make sure it’s compliant with emission regulations in force at the time of XG manufacture. It may be difficult to achieve with a carbureted Cleveland.

Transplanting a Windsor from an AU V8 or similar car would offer a simpler shot at compliance, but I guess you’ve got a 302C taking up space and a ute up your sleeve.
