My friend has raced go karts and a bit of forumla ford and he is looking into buying a saloon car to race.

Since he has a skyline, he prefers a straight 6 so he wants to get an EA/ED.

Does anyone know if there are any race ready for sale and If there is an official site for them?

ta ;)

You could try unique cars or motorsport mags. I know for a fact some of them have classifieds at the back that cover all levels of motorsport. From go-karts and HQ's up to $200k Porches...

try www.my105.com they are the motorsport classifieds, and also sell pretty much any available racing car from go-karts to v8 supercars and all the bits in between (hill climb cars etc)...
Get an EB upwards if anything as the ea's tend to understeer, as i was watching them the other day and noticed that then the commentators mentioned it. BTW i think they are upgrading the cars to AU's or is it the EF-EL cars i'm not sure.

Saloon cars are only 3.9L's, EA or EB S1's. Would be lots of fun to race in tho!

Yes they are upgradeing the series to race AU/VT series of cars soon, but I'm not sure when that is.
