Is it possible to just get a new seal for my dipstick. It works iits way just slightly out of the hole and then the car runs rough at low revs (vacuum leak).

2: plastic plug with an O-ring

just give the dipstick a 'little bend' about half way down. this will help is stay in place.

if the rubber is perished, the only fix is to find a replacement at a wrecker.......

if not, as XR8dismantler suggested, bend the dipstick a little

heyo,

if you want to keep it on the cheap n nasty side, you could always wrap some electrical tape arount the top to the dipstick tube to make it a larger diamater so that the rubber seal fits tightly again.
