just a quick querry people.. i just brought the autronic sm2 computer and i am putting it in my el fairmont ghia (6cylinder)but aparently cause its an auto i have to keep the original computer in to run a/c etc and use the autronic to run the air and fuel.. will it get messy mixing the two computers together..
p.s the work im doin is twin throotle bodies custom grind cam headwork and all the other little goodies.. not forced induction yet but later done the track i will..

yeah i was told if i had a manual it will all work good.. well if i was to do a conversion what price range will i be lookin at.. and how much would i get for my gearbox..also i wanna keep all the woordgrain and leather dash so would that mean ill have to do a custom interia??

You just run in in conjunction with the factory EEC, same happens with most aftermarket computers in modern cars.. The factory computer controls things like dask, aircon, trans etc while the aftermarket computer just controls fuel and ignition.
