dang that was quick mate. a real pitty about Ingal. I'm very interested to hear what happened. They thought it was brake bias before, but now think he grabed two gears. Poor fella, he'd be disapointed. On another note, good work by Lowdnes, it'll be interesting to see if his race engine is as good (him and Jim Richards were the only two to do the shootout with there old engines).

Not to mention the whole front row! Only 4 of the top 10 shootout cars were Fords, Ingall had his mishap and Seton was on wet tyres, so really only two competitive cars, and they comprise the front row.. :D :D

good stuff but last time lowndes and ambrose shared the front row it all ended in tears (pukukoe). i think they will behave though but with ambrose you never know. seems to suffer from brain fade at various times this season. also pole can be a disadvantage. not too often has the man on pole won. having said that the winner nearly always comes from the top 10. shame lowndes doesn't have a full time co driver although muller has shown himself to be pretty handy.

good to see those kamikaze roo's still trying to help out the fords and take out another holden.

and even if ingall didn't stuff up he would've only been 2 spots further up as the track was drying very fast and jason richards (next out) was over 4 sec quicker than ingall.
