i was just wondering if any else body has a brake dust problem with *ferrodo* pads?
and also, what type of pads do you reccomend for an 86 XF falcon... thanks guys

what series of ferodo pads are you using? i know there's one series of pads that make an obscene amount of dust

softer the pad the pad the more dust, i used Bendix standards on my old ZJ with out a problem, they arent as hard on the discs as well.

Best thing is to try different pads. Maybe talk to that T brake place that's a commercial sponsor of FordMods.com now for some adivce.

yep I put ferodos in the old lady's car - won't be using them again! Stupid amounts of dust and they feel greasy at anything less than 3/4 pedal...bloody horrible things!

yeh, i'm not sure what series but they are pretty soft, i'd reccomend NOONE get ferrodo if they can help it. i bought them because they were "dust free"... lol.

i'm thinkin of gettng DBA gold disc brakes, in the hopes that in combination with good pads i will get good consistent (non spongy) braking with a reduced amount of dust... :P
