does anybody know of any good reputable places in the ACT where i could get my block dipped, and new cam bearing put into it? and roughly th cost to do this?

just got mine done, dont know who tho, was organized through act heads in queanbeyan run by ian kean, a real ford man. i think it cost me bout 65 for the dip, cant give a price for the bearings, did it myself, shouldnt cost that much tho, just make sure they need replacing first, you would be suprised what you can get away with. act heads 62975300 hes not in the yellow pages

thanks mate, thats bloody cheap too, you can get bearing for around 30 bucks i think, maybe if i supply the bearing they could install them for me? or is it easy to put cam bearings in?

best bet would to get him to fit them. special tolling is required to fit them properly. may be cheaper to get him to suppy the bearings as well.
