is it alrite to install superlows without new shockies?

Best to get new shock as you will find the old ones wont handle the extra load from the new shorter springs and you will end up bottoming out all the time. Which is what happened to me

I have heard of this being done, but i'm guessing it's illegal as well, but is it possible to put some form of clamp on the spring to temporarily bring down the ride height? No doubt these are illegal for above listed problems as well?? thoughts please (not cursing and swearing?)

Even worse than cutting springs, evidently they can fly off when the spring compresses, and hit someone, you , the car, bugger that.

Has anyone thought that it maybe that low that its resting on the bumb stop rubbers like one of those wankers in a gemini, and thats why its bouncing.

Either get new springs or cut some off (or take them out, which I dont really recommend) the bump stop rubbers.

How low do people want to have their cars anyway,

How funny is a super low gemini bouncing down the road! All those baseball hats bouncing up and down like crazy... even better at night with the sparks flying from the chassis hitting the ground!

Ah those buckets last about 10 minutes in sydney... cops love em!
